Bianca Antonia has made a lifelong commitment to promoting the art of flamenco. Born and raised in Texas, Bianca has danced flamenco for more than half her life. She began her studies in Flamenco under Lucia Rodriguez Sanchez in 1992. In 1999 she appeared in Lucia y Valdemar’s Gitanerias film “Grafico”. In 2000 she formed her first cuadro group called “Pasion Gitana”. In 2004, she formed her cuadro Flamenco Andaluz.

With Flamenco Andaluz she performed at Jones Hall, Baylor University, Sam Houston State University, Texas A&M, University of Houston, Texas Attorney General. As well as events for Univison, Café Bustelos and numerous other events across the state of Texas. She has studied under some influential artist of flamenco such as Antonio Granjero, Omayra Amaya, Timo Lozano, Maria Serrano, Concha Jareno, Inmaculada Ortega and Sara Martin and numerous other artists.

After a 4 year hiatus from flamenco and becoming a new mother, Bianca is now currently a freelance/solo dancer in the Houston area.
